Once annually, IGFA hosts a regional awards exhibition with a professional juror. This is the perfect exhibition to enter for anyone in Idaho, or the Western United States, who wants to create art with a message or a theme that shows off their best work. We are leaving the interpretation up to the artist - you know what it means to be captivated, so show us what it means to you. What makes you want to create? What subject inspires you? How do you wish to impact the world through your art?

“Captivate” is open for a variety of interpretations by the artist: contemporary, traditional, out of the box, we love it all and we want to show Boise what you are capable of.

Entry deadline: Monday, May 29, 2023 (midnight, USA Mountain Time)

Notification of acceptance: by Wednesday, May 31, 2022

Drop-Off / receiving: Thursday, June 8, 2023:  12 - 3 pm at the gallery

Pick-up of sold and unsold art: Thursday, August 17, 2023: 12 - 3 pm at the gallery

Gallery reception and Judge's awards ceremony: Saturday, June 10, 2023: 2 pm - 5 pm

Exhibition duration: June 10 through August 15, 2023

Business hours at time of exhibition: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 12 - 3 pm; Saturday: 12 - 5 pm (closed Wednesday and Sunday) - SUMMER HOURS MAY BE EXTENDED (see google listing for updates)

Scope: This exhibition is open to all emerging and professional fine artists globally who meet our submission criteria

Entry fee for artists to submit work: $35 - payable at time of sign-up
